Gabriel’s Symphony Foundation brings the Rock It Science Bus to the Daang Hari kids.
The Rock It Science Bus is a mobile science laboratory pioneered by the Office of Senator Pia S. Cayetano in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology and the Taguig Local Government. It is designed to augment the deficiency of science laboratories in the country by providing access to a working science laboratory to many public school students. Science equipment such as periscopes, telescopes, and computer tablets are found onboard the mobile lab to aid the children in their activities.
Last June 8, forty indigent children from Daang Hari experienced science in a whole new light. The Rock It Science Bus visited the Daang Hari Kids, giving them the opportunity to actively learn about science in a dynamic environment. The kids were able to perform hands-on experiments not ordinarily available in schools which piqued their interest in science and opened their eyes to an enjoyable way of learning.
It was an entertaining and educational experience for the kids as they discovered the fun of learning science outside the four walls of a classroom.
